Northeast Wisconsin Woodland Owners Conference

January 20, 2007
Woodland Conference Owners
Northeast Wisconsin Technical college: Green Bay, WI Center for Business & Industry

Dear Woodland Owner,

You are invited to attend the 2007 Northeast Wisconsin Winter Landowner Conference. This year’s conference offers a mix of topics that should be of interest to you. We will have several speakers give you a comprehensive
overview of managing your red pine forests, and of the insects and diseases of concern. We will then take a comprehensive look at the process of selling
standing timber from an established timber harvest including several methods of sale, timber sale contracts, and administration of the harvest. The conference
will wrap up with an overview of deer biology and population dynamics and a look at the impacts current large deer populations are having on your forest. As always we will be serving a continental breakfast during registration and the break, to be held in the dining room of the student center.

Please note that we have selected a new location for this year’s conference that
will be accommodating to the large crowd this conference usually attracts! This
year’s conference will be held at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Please
enter through the Center for Business and Industry. The conference will take
place in the auditorium, located in the student center, room SC132 (see map).
Please note, food and drinks are not allowed in the auditorium. Bottled water is
the only exception. As always we will be serving a continental breakfast, to be
held in the dining room of the student center. Anyone with an interest in woodland resources is invited to attend this conference. Please join us and bring a friend!
