Northeast Wisconsin Woodland Owners Conference

January 21, 2006
Woodland Conference Owners
Northeast Wisconsin Technical college:
green bay, WI Center for Business & Industry

Dear Woodland Owner,

You are invited to attend the 2006 Northeast Wisconsin Winter Landowner
Conference. This year’s conference offers a mix of topics from starting a new forest to protecting your property from the threat of forest fire. We will have several speakers give you a comprehensive overview of selecting the right tree,
plantation maintenance, and insect and disease issues with tree planting. The conference will also include speakers on black bear biology and protecting your
property from the threat of forest fires. The conference will wrap up with everyone’s favorite, a landowner’s experience featuring the Wisconsin’s 2005 Tree Farmer of the Year.

Please note that we have selected a new location for this year’s conference that
will be accommodating to the large crowd this conference usually attracts! This
year’s conference will be held at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Please
enter through the Center for Business and Industry. The conference will take
place in the auditorium, located in the student center, room SC132 (see map).
Please note, food and drinks are not allowed in the auditorium. Bottled water is
the only exception. As always we will be serving a continental breakfast, to be
held in the dining room of the student center. Anyone with an interest in woodland resources is invited to attend this conference. Please join us and bring a friend!
