Dear Woodland Owner:

We invite you to a series of educational classes designed to help you better understand and manage your woodlands.

The classes are sponsored by University of Wisconsin– Extension and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), and taught by experts in woodland ecology, forest health and management, timber harvesting, and related topics. Whether you are a long-time woodland landowner or someone completely new to the experience, the classes will have much to offer. Please take a moment to look through this brochure for the “how, when, and why” of the Learn about your Land woodland classes.

Registration information

Preregistration is appreciated, but not required. Registration fee is $25 for the entire series or $5 per walk in session. Receive a free ”Wisconsin Tree” identification field guide at the first class if you pre-register and pay for the full series by January 9, 2009.

Payment should be made by check made out to: JACKSON COUNTY UW-EXTENSION.
