Duties: 

1.) Identify Upper Chippewa Basin natural resource issues; develop and implement plans and actions to address those issues.

2.) Provide natural resource management policy recommendations to local, state, and federal agencies; nonprofit groups; towns, villages, cities, and counties; and other management units.

3.) Identify, solicit, and coordinate funding opportunities for addressing priority natural resource management issues Share information regarding Partnership Team issues and projects in the Upper Chippewa Basin and educate others regarding natural resources. 

Qualifications:

1.) Interest in conserving natural resources and promoting land stewardship.

2.) Desire to learn about our natural resources and to teach others what you have learned.

3.) Ability to view issues in a basin-wide, or ecosystem, context.

4.) Ability to work with others in a cooperative and collaborative fashion.

5.) Willingness to commit the necessary time and energy to the process.

Time Required:

1.) Attend full Partnership Team meetings and any necessary committee meetings (approximately one every two months).

2.) Assist with completing additional tasks that arise in the interim period between
scheduled meetings (varies depending upon projects under way).
