Lakes Brochure: to promote shoreland protection.
- Student Summit on Exotic Species
- Review and comment to the City of Waukesha on street width requirements.
- Walworth County Conservation Technician Lakes position (Efforts to secure funding)
- Distribution of Natural Areas Maps to communities in the basin with a letter encouraging protection when land use issues are decided by Plan Commissions.
- An educational video to aid local decision-makers in making sound land use decisions.
- Recommendations for shoreland enhancement and protection for a commercial development on the Pewaukee River.
- "Outdoor Recreation Opportunities" map: highlights locations for fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities in the basin.
- Assistance in developing river-specific community groups, including the Mukwonago River Initiative and the Pewaukee River Partnership.
- Development of an "Open Space Manual" for private landowners and others who manage large, undeveloped areas with information to maintain and enhance the natural property.
