In October 1996, the RCRB Project received an EPA 104 (b)(3) grant to maintain and augment stakeholder involvement in the RCRB Project by implementing water quality improvement demonstration projects.  Demonstration projects have focused on educating residents/land owners on how their actions impact the water quality in the RCRB and promote voluntary participation.  Projects will be designed to be replicated (if successful) in other parts of the basin. In addition to the grant money to support demonstration projects the RCRB also received an EPA 104 (b)(3) grant for information and education projects in the basin.  The Steering Committee has organized into working groups to develop relevant information and education projects and demonstration projects.
