Educational Videos
In spring 2010, students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC) enrolled in a course entitled, "Writing About Environmental Quality in the Lower Chippewa River Basin," co-taught by Dr. Garry Running (of the Geography and Anthropology Department) and Dr. Ruth Cronje (of the Scientific and Technical Writing Program in the English Department). The theme of the course was "biodiversity," and students were challenged to create films that informed citizens about the impact of habitat fragmentation, invasive species, and climate change on the biodiversity of the Lower Chippewa River Basin.
