Building a Cattle Crossing

Before making the crossing,
the cows cross wherever they want,
washing more soil into the streambed.

With a completed crossing, the cows make a much smaller impact on the stream, since although they continue to have the stream as a drinking water source, they prefer to cross where the footing is most secure.
