Marketing Your Timber to Meet Your Goals

This presentation will include: Basic steps to marketing your timber based on current world markets; how to market your timber and accomplish reforesting goals; how to improve wildlife habitat; and how to receive top dollar for your trees.
Kevin Oetken is a private forestry consultant and owner of Woodland Forestry, LLC. Kevin served in the United States Army and earned a B.S. in Forestry from Iowa State University in 1989. From 1989-1991 he served as the County Forester for Jackson County, Iowa. In 1991 he started his own business, Woodland Forestry, which has grown to include 5 full time employees and manages forested parcels for private landowners in 4 states. Kevin lives in rural Monmouth, Iowa, with his wife and 2 children.
