Restoration and Management of Habitat for Reptiles & Amphibians
Jennifer Anderson-Cruz, Biologist, Iowa NRCS, Des Moines, IA

During this session, attendees will learn how to restore and manage woodlands and forests to provide habitat for upper Midwest reptile and amphibian species.

Jennifer Anderson-Cruz has been a Biologist in the Iowa NRCS Ecological Sciences Division in Des Moines, Iowa, for five years. Prior to coming to the NRCS, she was the Nahant Marsh Naturalist for the Putnum Museum in Davenport, Iowa, and the Mud Creek Watershed Coordinator for the Soil and Water Conservation District in Muscatine, Iowa . Jennifer received a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from MaryCrest International University, and an M.S. degree in Biology from Western Illinois University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Animal Ecology at Iowa State University. Jennifer specializes in the restoration and management of rare and declining wildlife species and plant communities.
