Paul Wray
Paul Wray has been an Extension Forester for the Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management at Iowa State University since 1975. Paul's areas of expertise include small woodlot management, walnut culture, windbreaks, Christmas tree production, and urban and community forestry. The Extension programs he works with include meetings and field days, especially those associated with Forestry Field Days and the Master Woodland Manager's program, as well as newsletters, mass media information, web pages, publications, and fact sheets. In 1992, Paul helped develop the Community Tree Steward Program, which he continues to teach and help coordinate.  Paul received a BS in Forest Management a PhD in Forest Biology, both from Iowa State University . His hobbies include fishing, gardening, and raising Christmas trees.
