Stephen Bratkovich
As Forest Products Specialist for the USDA Forest Service, State & Private Forestry, Steve provides technical and administrative assistance to State forestry departments, conservation agencies, and related organizations in seven Midwest states (1992 to present). This assistance is in the subject areas of forest products marketing and utilization and natural resources-based economic development. He also monitors federal financial assistance grants. Prior to joining the Forest Service, Steve was an Assistant Professor of Natural Resources and District Extension Forestry Specialist for The Ohio State University, School of Natural Resources and Ohio Cooperative Extension Service (1983-1992). He also has worked in cooperative extension in Oklahoma and Nebraska (1975-1983). Steve earned his B.S. in Forest Science from Pennsylvania State University , his M.S. in Forest Economics from the University of New Hampshire , and his Ph.D. in Extension and Adult Education from The Ohio State University.
