Wetland Restoration Handbook now available.

Published in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), this 110-page guide provides useful information to landowners interested in management and restoration of degraded wetlands on their property. The handbook provides an overview of the steps necessary to evaluate a site for restoration, offers opportunities for cost-share and collaborative programs with various agencies, and walks a landowner through the implementation phase of their projects. This well-illustrated book is loaded with useful information, professional contacts, publications, and tips for landowners. Several restoration successes are featured as case studies. You may obtain a copy of the "Wetland Restoration Handbook for Wisconsin Landowners," from Wisconsin Wetlands Association. A $5 fee is charged to cover postage and handling.   Write to:  Wisconsin Wetland Association, 222 S. Hamilton St. Suite #1, Madison, WI 53703.  Call: (608) 250-9971.  Or e-mail:  wetlands@execpc.com
