Wausau School Forest

Purpose: The purpose of this meeting will be to review and select new projects based on proposals discussed at our last meeting. Also, we will discuss establishing an executive for the Partnership and determine an executor as well as discuss the creation of an educational sub committee. This meeting will include a guest speaker and field trip covering issues of interest to the Partnership.

8:45 a.m. – Coffee, Doughnuts and Conversation

9:00 a.m. – Welcome / Meeting Purpose Jerow / Haugen

9:10 a.m. – Introductions / Check-In / Agenda Repair DuPlissis

9:15 a.m. -- Working Group Reports, Yellow River, Plover River

9:35 a.m. – Discuss the idea of an Executive Committee for the Central Wisconsin Basin Partnership Group.

10:05 a.m. -- Break 

10:20 a.m. – New project follow-up DuPlissis

Discuss what write-ups have been turned in.
Determine if the projects with no response should be followed up with or dropped.
Set steering committees for the projects that the group would like to follow up with.
Set a goal for each steering group to have completed by the next meeting.

11:15 a.m. - Discuss the establishment of an Education Sub-committee. DuPlissis

11:30 a.m. - Speaker: Eden Koljord 
Topic: What can be done to better utilize the school forests in helping educate our youth.

Noon - Lunch @ the school forest cafeteria.
 
12:40 p.m. - Walk around the school forest with Jerry Meany, Wausau School Forest Administrator

1:20 p.m. - Gather into vans and head over to the Van Der Geest Dairy
1:45 p.m. - Tour the Van Der Geest Dairy
3:10 p.m. - Back at the Wausau School Forest for a quick Wrap-Up and Check-Out
3:15 p.m. - Adjourn
