Dan Zerr
Lower Chippewa Basin

Dan Zerr joined UW-Extension as the Lower Chippewa Basin Educator in June 2008. Prior to that he worked as an environmental scientist in the Watershed Management Section of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment in Topeka, and taught environmental and physical science at Friends University in Topeka. He was a research associate for the Center for Agriculture, Resources and Environmental Systems at the University of Missouri - Columbia.  He also worked in radio broadcasting for many years in South Dakota. Dan has a BS in biology from Northern State University, Aberdeen, SD, and an MS in environmental science (environmental communications) from Indiana University.
