Deborah Beyer Debbie Beyer came to UWEX in 2002 as the basin educator in the Black-Buffalo-Trempealeau and La Crosse-Bad Axe basins. In November 2004 she began her work in the Lakeshore and Sheboygan Basins. She works to build capacity within watershed and other conservation organizations and provides educational programming and support to agencies and organizations for a variety of land and water resource topics. Before joining UWEX, she served as chief naturalist for the Wisconsin State Park System and statewide interpretive program coordinator for the Missouri Department of Conservation. Debbie has a B.S. degree in wildlife management/biology and an M.S. degree in environmental education and interpretation from UW-Stevens Point.
